Including nutrition and cookery workshops as part of employee wellness package is not only fun and great for team building, it can also have real benefits for both employer and employee. There is so much an individual can do to support their body through periods of stress, reducing both its physical and mental impact.
17.9 workdays per person suffering were lost due to stress related illness in 2019/2020. Diet and lifestyle have been proven to help reduce stress and to support your body through stress resulting in fewer days absent.
Run as a morning, lunch or full day session and designed specifically for your workforce. The workshop takes place in a purpose-built kitchen in Ipswich, only 5 minutes walk from the station and with ample free parking.
Example morning workshop:
- Welcome drinks and sample foods
- Discussion around how to create a nutritious breakfast, what happens in your body when you eat, how eating certain foods can help with stress, energy levels and other concerns
- Demo and practical session making different types of breakfasts which can be taken home
